How I Store My Belts

So for today's post, I thought I would talk about how I store my belts and other alternatives on storing yours, without putting them into a bin. One of my favorite videos on Youtube are room tours, but I noticed a lot of people were putting their belts into drawers or bins. I am kind of a neat freak so that technique wouldn't work for me, but I have my own technique that saves space, time, and appears clutter-free.

I got this belt hanger rack, from my mom awhile back, that keeps your belts organized and allows you to spin it so you can see all of your belts. All you do is hang your belts on the hooks and hang the storage piece in your closet. I really like this organizer because it doesn't take up a lot of space, but sometimes I tend to forget that it's in my closet. But otherwise, it gives me more space in my closet and drawers then it would, if they were thrown into a bin. I found some similar ones online if you want to check them out and get yourself a new belt organizer!

*I moved my clothes away from the belt hanger so you guys could get a better look at it.

Amazon Haul 2014

Recently, I made an order from Amazon, mainly, because I wanted to get some of the remaining books in a few series in my collection and to pick up an inexpensive, beginner makeup brush set. Both of which I’ve been meaning to do for a while now.

The first books on my list were the last two of the Eragon series, Brisingr and Inheritance, by Christopher Paolini. I love fantasy or dragon-related books so it was unbelievable to me that I would forget about this series! But not to fret, I went ahead and bought them to complete my set, so any time I need a little magic in my life I can just pick up one of these.  The next book I purchased was The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown. I did actually have this book at one time, but it got lost during the move so I had to repurchase it for my collection.  It’s a book based on a lot of history and connecting the dots; I find it extremely interesting if you are into that sort of thing.

Now a makeup product…I picked up NYX Eye Shadow Base in White. At first, I was only going to buy this product to try because it would complete the balance I needed for free shipping, but after looking at all of the great reviews, I knew I had to have it. I have a serious problem of having my eye shadow fade away after only a few hours so I bought this base to keep my eye look for a longer time period. I’ve only used it once, but I can see that it definitely works. I could do a full review on it if you guys would like, just let me know in the comments section.

My first ever makeup brush set is a gorgeous color: deep red handles with ombre purple bristles. I won’t go into too much details about the set because I want to do a full review on them in another post specifically, but I will say that the bristles were very soft and the storage bag was surprisingly sturdy and good quality.
What is your favorite book series or type of book? Have you tried any other good eye shadow bases?

Style Steal | | Chris Brown in "Loyal" Music Video

Jeans- Old Navy, Shoes- Timberlands, Moto Jacket- Unknown, Plaid Shirt- Kohl's,
Necklace & Rings- H&M, Oval Ring- Italy

For a guy, Chris Brown has great fashion and music sense! Chris Brown is one of my favorite artists, behind Michael Jackson and Ciara, so when I found out he had a new song out, I had to listen to it. "Loyal" is a pretty good song with its catchy lyrics, but what I loved most about the music video is his outfit (well besides the dancing). So I decided to do a style steal of it. In his music video, he wore a white tee with a black moto jacket, a plaid shirt tied around his hips, and wore Timberlands to seal the look. I did the exact same look, but a more feminine version. Also sorry about the bad quality of the photo of Chris Brown, but you get the idea of what I was going for. (:

What do you think about this look?
Do you listen to Chris Brown or like "Loyal"?

My Prom 2014

Prom 2014!! It was a bittersweet event because it was my last prom ever, since I am graduating this year! But I can honestly say that I am glad that I went. We had a great DJ, an amazing photographer, and spiffy decorations to make the memory everlasting! I went with one of my close friends as my date, since I didn't want to bothered with a real boy date and all the fancy extras. My makeup was done by the Kohl's makeup department for free, and I got my hair done at a local beauty school! By doing this, I was able to save a lot of money. I have a post specifically on How to Save On Prom, if you want to read that post as well.

Hope you are having a good week! If you went to Prom this year, I would love to see your dresses!
